Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation http://huntbot.andrew.cmu.edu/ This website includes a Catalogue of Botanical Art, of which some illustrations are in the public domain and can be downloaded from the web. Internet Directory of Botany - Edmonton, Alberta Edition http://www.botany.net/IDB/ A wonderful directory to almost anything botanical. Search from the homepage or browse using the Alphabetical List. Mirror websites in the USA and Europe can be accessed from the homepage. NRC Research Press http://pubs.nrc-cnrc.gc.ca/rp-ps/journals.jsp?lang=eng Links to Canadian online journals from the National Research Council of Canada, including the Canadian Journal of Botany, Canadian Journal of Forest Research, and Canadian Journal of Plant Science. Select a journal, then select the volume and article. Articles are available in abstracts or full text. Each species page includes a scanned image, with scale, and a brief description in French. Most of the featured species are also found in northern Ontario.
